class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Airportman.id &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Dikutip dari CNN (18\/9), Bandara Internasional Dallas-Forth Worth (DFW) di Amerika Serikat sedang dalam proses pembangunan Terminal C. Dan yang unik ada pada tahap pembangunan Gate Terminal, dimana mereka menggunakan metode yang tidak biasa, yaitu bangunan gate dipabrikasi terlebih dahulu di lokasi berbeda sebelum kemudian diangkut dan dipasangkan ke bangunan Terminal C.<\/p><p>Adapun gate baru yang yang akan dibangun sebanyak 4 buah yang kemudian dibagi menjadi 6 modul terpisah. Dan masing-masing gate memiliki berat 408.200 kilogram, dan telah dipabrikasi pada bulan April hingga Agustus 2021. Pengangkutan modul-modul tersebut menggunakan <em>flatbed truck<\/em> berteknologi tinggi pada malam hari setelah operasional bandara berakhir pada pukul 11 malam dalam dan dilakukan dalam 6\u00a0<em>shift<\/em>, yang pertama pada tanggal 26-27 Agustus dan yang terakhir pada tanggal 9-10 September.\u00a0<\/p><p>Setelah pabrikasi dan pemasangan gate baru yang terbuat dari rangka baja, dinding kaca dan lantai beton selesai, tahapan selanjutnya adalah pemasangan instalasi dan utilitas baik yang berada di bawah tanah maupun di atas tanah.\u00a0<\/p><p>Keempat gate baru tersebut akan memiliki luas 24.384 meter persegi dan dijadwalkan beroperasi pada Juni 2022. Dan selanjutnya akan dilanjutkan pada pembangunan gate kelima yang akan dilakukan\u00a0<em>onsite<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p><p><em>Chief Executive<\/em> Bandara Dallas-Forth Worth Sean Donohue mengatakan bahwa pembangunan menggunakan metode tersebut memungkinkan mereka untuk menyelesaikan proyek tersebut 20% lebih cepat dan 25% lebih murah dibandingkan menggunakan metode pada umumnya.\u00a0 Biaya proyek tersebut adalah sebesar$ 215 juta, yang mana 62% ditanggung oleh DFW dan 38% ditanggung oleh American Airlines. Donohue mengatakan bahwa pandemi COVID-19 tidak berdampak besar terhadap proyek tersebut.\u00a0<\/p><p>DFW menyatakan bahwa banyak bandara domestik maupun internasional yang mulai menanyakan informasi terkait pembangunan Gate Terminal C tersebut.\u00a0 &#8220;Sebagai operator bandara, kami berbagi banyak informasi, dan kami terbuka untuk berbagi dengan bandara lain,&#8221; kata
