class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Airportman.id \u2013 <\/strong>I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS) again welcomed Qatar Airways, which opened the Doha-Bali flight route. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner belonging to the Qatari airline carrying 222 passengers landed at DPS for the first time since the pandemic on Sunday (27\/03) afternoon at 17.31 WITA.<\/p><p>The plane returned to Doha on Monday (28\/03) early in the morning at 01.27 WITA carrying 103 passengers.<\/p><p>President Director of Angkasa Pura Airports, Faik Fahmi, said, \"The Doha-Bali route is a regular international route that is again served by I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, after previously having stopped operating since the beginning of the pandemic. Until now, Qatar Airways is the eighth airline that serves regular international flight routes to and from Bali.<\/p><p>\"This route also increases the number of international routes served by I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport to six routes, namely Singapore, Melbourne, Sydney, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur and Doha. We welcome the reopening of the Doha-Bali route with great enthusiasm, considering the potential for additional passenger numbers in the future. We are quite optimistic, with the increasing number of regular international flight routes that are back in operation, it will have positive implications for Bali tourism.\"<\/p><p>I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport has been recorded to have served 24,803 passengers and 260 international flight routes regularly since the reopening of international flight routes at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport on February 3, 2022.<\/p><p>\"As of March 24 yesterday, Angkasa Pura Airports has implemented new international travel rules in line with the issuance of the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Transportation Number 33 of 2022. With the enactment of this new rule, we are quite optimistic that there will be an increase in flight traffic and passengers on regular international routes at the airport. -airports that we manage, especially in Bali, Surabaya, Manado, and Lombok. This of course will also bring a multiplier effect for the economic recovery and tourism industry in Indonesia in a sustainable manner,\" said Faik Fahmi.<\/p><p>\"The enactment of the new rules also does not rule out the possibility of opening up opportunities for other airlines, both international and national airlines, to reopen regular international flight routes, along with the easing of international travel rules.
